Position Summary

Implement the production plan in the form of an operational schedule, with the appropriate fixed horizon, that minimizes inventory and maximizes efficient utilization of labor and production capacity.

·          Perform capacity analysis for labor and production equipment to determine feasibility for the production plan.

·         Create the short-term fixed schedule and orchestrate the implementation of that schedule.

·         Update and monitor reporting systems to insure appropriate progress of the fixed schedule, vendor production, deliveries, and new product launches.

·         Coordinate flow of packaging components from vendors to manufacturing operations or sub contractors.

·         Identify and reconcile inventory discrepancies within the department or assigned manufacturing area.

·         Initiate and follow up on writ offs of rejected or obsolete finished goods, component or bulk product.

·         Maintain finished goods “Q-Stat” report and expedite release of salable inventory and project releases dates to customer service departments.

·         Generate all necessary and required reports in a timely manner.

·         Implement all L’Oreal policies and procedures including, but not limited to, the Corporation’s Equal Employment Opportunity Policy and applicable safety and health procedures.

·         Perform other duties as necessary or required.

 

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Education:
BS/BA degree in Engineering/Business Management or equivalent experience.
Experience:
Three (3) to five (5) years experience in a manufacturing environment in cosmetics or related field with at least three (3) years experience in production planning preferred.

Senior Plumbing Designer

The ideal candidate should have 7 to 12 years experience in plumbing / fire protection systems design. Project types include full service hotels, condominiums, spec office buildings, tenant up-fits and garden style apartments. CIPE or CPD preferred. Autocad experience required. Experience with all plumbing systems design including sanitary, grease trap and oil interceptors, storm drainage, domestic water, and gas systems required; Design experience with Sovent beneficial. Candidate’s responsibilities include preparing contract drawings and specifications, submittal review, site reviews and RFI responses.

Required Skills
