Growth at this global Wireless Communications Company has led to the need for a contract Systems / Hardware Engineer who can take responsibility for the development of requirements and high level design in the digital network interface section of a femto-cell and pico-cell system. The candidate should have experience in design of secure VPN type connections through the internet. Should have knowledge of implementing the protocols and stacks for TCP/IP, UDP, RTP, and IPsec. Of particular need is experience in developing interfaces supporting IPsec (Internet Protocol Security) AES/3DES encryption with features such as symmetric-key encryption and authentication algorithms. Possible algorithms may include Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), Digital Encryption Standard (DES), 3DES, SHA-1, MD5, HMAC-SHA1, HMAC-MD5.
Experience may include development of VPN-enabled SOHO routers, VPN-enabled gateway solutions, Wireless access points, Access devices, VPN firewall appliances.

Requirements:
– BSEE plus 5+ years experience with circulator and isolator design required
– Strong familiarity with design architecture platforms used in circulators
– Knowledge of appropriate material options for circulators, along with their cost and performance repercussions
– Must have experience in a high-volume factory setting
– Strong skills in AutoCad and / or similar CAD tools
– Expertise with spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal analyzers, power meters, and passive components is required
– Experience in designing custom toolings and fixtures
– Knowledge of reliability and quality testing methods and quality standards in the electronics industry, especially those relevant to designing circulators and isolators

These applications run on sophisticated, compact and robust set-top boxes.
In this position you will develop application code in full-life cycle. An adjacent role will focus on lower level embedded software. The latter requires prior video processing electronics experience but the Windows role does not. Positions will focus on the development of software for Video streaming, RF and MPEG Decoders.
