Power Supply Design Engineer (AC/DC), North Dallas Suburb, Contract to hire, $45-50/hr target

Seeking mid or senior level design engineer. Will design, evaluate and integrated sophisticated AC/DC power supplies and related circuitry and systems. The systems design is mostly integration related. Will wear many hats in a vibrant, exciting and small engineering organization. Little to no travel but might have light pre-sales customer interaction on custom project. Heavy interaction with a lead Mechanical engineer. This is a 30+ year old, vibrant firm. The company has been profitable almost every year in its existence.

Skills sought: strong Power Supply design experience. Not targeting a pure DC/DC type, need AC/DC deign. Strong analog design experience and ideally would have some knowledge of heat sinks and electro-mechanical design challenges. Familiarity with filters (design), custom design and integration, parts selection, qualification (this is a design role however), magnetics, fans and heat sinks. Knowledge of SolidWorks. BSEE or MSEE required. This is a temp-to-hire role with no guarantees of conversion.

Also have a ME Tech role with CAD and Solidworks experience.

Mechanical Drafter / Technician (Heatsinks/Solidworks), $30-35 hr, contract to hire, North Dallas Suburbs

Seeking Mechanical Drafter with strong Solidworks experience. Will support Senior Design engineers in the design and integration of power supplies, fans and heat sinks.

3+ years Solidworks required. Strong work history. Must come from power supply, heatsink or analog component design background. Associates degree or higher. This is a contract to hire role with no guarantee of conversion.
