DSP Engineer – North Dallas Suburb, 100-120K suggested salary target

North Dallas area DSP Engineer / Systems architect to work in advanced wireless R&D group. Will provide architecture for mixed signal circuitry and implement DSP Algorithms for FPGA’s for complex wireless communication systems.

Skills sought include DSP Hardware design and architecture, Mixed Signal design. Experience designing converters (ADC/DAC), FIR filters, digital filters and complete digital wireless communication systems. Experience in design and modeling of digital signal processing structures for wireless transceiver and cellular handset ASIC applications. Experience in design and implementation of DSP functions such as FIR, IIR, and CIC filters, equalizers, complex frequency conversion, complex filtering, sample rate converters, digital oscillators, PLLs, and DSMs. Knowledge of CDMA, WCDMA, GSM/GPRS, OFDM, WiMax, LTE, and other wireless formats and radio architectures. Prefer PhD, BSEE required coupled with 8+ years of Systems Architecture.

SIM Toolkit Software Developer – Senior, $90-$100K target, North Dallas Suburb

Take your Software Development abilities to a new level and expand your skills over time. Hands on role will design, develop, test and support of applications associated with the SIM Tool Kit (STK) that involve secure data transactions for sophisticated mobile devices. Advanced work involves OTA programming. Responsibilities will include development of software in full life cycle, including assessment, testing, documentation and operational support. Will contributed to product definition and design and coordinate with third party service providers. Heavy software development is required (this is a staff development role). Requirements

– 5+ years experience software development associated with SIM Tool Kit. Not looking for a layer 1 device driver engineer for this role (although we’re always interested in that skill set). Candidate will have prior experience with a SIM Tool Kit manufacturer or a wireless carrier that design with SIM Tool Kit (obviously not all carriers will have this).
– Must have SIM Tool Kit experience,
– Expertise with a range of software and wireless technologies such as Java, C++ SMS, WAP, GSM and USSD
– Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
– Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities within a fast-paced, high tech growth environment
