Product Engineer (Discreet Semiconductors), $65-80K, North Dallas, TX
Upgrade your engineering career to a higher level at this well-respected global semiconductor company whose expanding product lines provide both stability and the opportunity to work with leading-edge technologies. Reporting to the Product Engineering Manager, you will serve as a liaison to Field Application Engineers, Customer Service Reps and Field Sales Reps, as well as working with semiconductor wafer fabs and packaging groups to develop new products. You will assist cross-functional teammates with defining product specs, following up on sample requests, coordinating new product development and releases, and technical data sheet specifications. Understanding of the marketplace, including competitive products, performing benchmark analysis and product characterization of new products, will be part of your role. Your recommendations for test equipment, mass production issues, yield improvement and other development activities will be valued.
