Requirements
Must come from a Security software background or a background with enterprise business software. Will have 3+ years of direct product marketing experience in this area. Ideally will have experience with Agile software development process (ontime tools). Working experience with OEM processes and strategic partnerships. Creative self-starter with an entrepreneurial drive who is resourceful. Proven leadership with collaborative approach to managing and growing a business. Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships internally and externally. Qualified candidate must have 10 or more years of progressive product management experience in a technology-oriented business. Qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s in a Technical Discipline (Computer Science preferred) or equivalent experience.

Essential Functions
– Configures, tests, and maintains LAN/WAN equipments and related services.

Responsibilities:

Job Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Networking or similar technical discipline; Certifications in telephony, IP and/or switched networks a plus. Heavy Datacom background vs. telecom. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 10-15+ years experience in telecommunications networking with 10 or more years spent solely in IP telephony voice communication networks. Strong preference for a candidate with Heavy ISP, Datacenter background with an emphasis on Network Design. The successful candidate must demonstrate superior working knowledge of VoIP/IP telephony systems, software, and hardware, including Sonus, Telica, Asterisk, SER, SIP Routers, SBC and Firewalls; superior hands-on knowledge of the configuration and optimization of VoIP equipment. The successful candidate will demonstrate working knowledge of traditional TDM networks and telecommunications carrier standards and terminology and how it applies to VoIP telephony solutions. The candidate must be current on all new transport protocols, products, and standards in support of VoIP systems development and equipment procurement. The candidate will possess the ability to interface with both a technical and non-technical audience and have good oral and written communication skills. The successful candidate must be able to understand a carrier customer’s network needs and produce an engineered solution which meets those needs while operating within both time and cost constraints. The successful candidate must be able to function both independently and in a team setting and must be capable of working with little or no direct supervision. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to plan, organize, coordinate, prioritize, and manage multiple projects concurrently. Strong interpersonal, relationship building, negotiation, and project management skills are required for this position.
