Aerospace Systems Engineer – Wichita, Kansas  Tectura We currently have an opening for a System Engineer in our Applied Engineering Solutions team. Job Description: Aerospace Systems Engineers use their understanding of the Systems Engineering processes, methodology and techniques to develop, validate and manage product-level system/sub-system requirements and architectures. These individuals will ensure system integration and will allocate requirements and define integrated functional specifications for systems, elements and subsystems, to determine the functional, physical, and procedural interfaces between them.  Key Responsibilities:

  •  Establish and validate product-level system requirements (e.g., performance, operation, function) through predictive modeling mission analysis and functional test. 
  • Develop and execute risk management strategies. 
  • Conceptualize and create preliminary system design alternatives. 
  • Manage design risk and configuration data from concept development through to product delivery and operational support. 

 Qualifications: We strongly prefer candidates with a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Science, Aerospace or related field (or equivalent).
