General Job Description :

Tandel Systems has extensive experience developing real-time aerospace and defense systems. We have the project management skills and the systems engineering capability to work with our customers to deliver fully tested real-time hardware/software capability for defense, space and civil aviation systems. We also have extensive experience with flight test systems development, independent verification and validation, and legacy systems upgrades. Tandel is seeking several flight controls engineer positions with experience in developing Matlab & Simulink models we prefer 5-6 years of experience at Minimum for some positions. The Skills needed are as follows: 1. Must be an expert MATLAB Simulink modeler. 2. Must have previous fly-by-wire flight controls experience a. Primary b. Highlift c. Autoflight/Autopilot 3. Must be knowledgeable of DOORS requirements management 4. Excellent written and verbal skills. Software background required (preferably real time embedded) Must understand software design (e.g., functional decomposition).
