We are seeking an engineering professional for our Johnstown, PA headquarters. As a registered professional (PE) engineer with a minimum of 10 years building systems electrical design experience, the successful candidate will provide technical leadership in the design of electrical power distribution systems for commercial buildings, including mission~critical data centers. Will be responsible for client interface and construction coordination of low and medium voltage applications as well as double ended switchgear, diesel generators, redundant power supply, and UPS systems. Must possess extensive knowledge of NFPA, IEEE, ANSI, NEC, and electrical equipment construction standards, and have a track record of success in electrical project management or lead electrical design experience in a consulting engineering capacity.

This small but growing and profitable firm that has doubled its revenue is the last several years is seeking an embedded and application software engineer to work on advanced video controls for various video content delivery mechanisms. Some of these devices are used in sophisticated, compact and robust set-top boxes. Others can be used in video displays in a variety of settings.  The primary focus of this job is the development of embedded and application software but one thing is for certain, this company doesn’t partition responsibilities between embedded, device driver and application development layer in the most rigid way. The engineers wear many hats in a vibrant team setting. You will also develop and integrate software in full-life cycle for both custom projects, and core products that may be mass-produced. This will be a challenge and the work is fast paced and refreshing. The big picture products are tangible and the internal engineering labs exude a high-tech electronics atmosphere. – 3+ years of engineering management experience

– 3+ years in a GSM, GPRS Wireless Terminal, or handset testing environment.  Wireless Modem, ANITE, Remote terminal emulation etc very beneficial

– Expertise in RF test techniques, including sensitivity, phase noise, spurious, BER, etc.

– C, C++, CVI, LabView and automated test definition, development and implementation, with both software and hardware

– Expertise in statistical process control techniques, applications and reporting

– Experience with assisting in the implementation of production test at remote manufacturing sites with contract vendors

– Ability to bring projects to completion on schedule and within budget in an environment with multiple projects and priorities
