Overall Responsibilities 
Perform as an integral team member in the development of stand-alone portable power solutions in order to meet prototype and product development timelines. As a Systems Engineer in the Engineering group, responsibilities will include: 
• Development of analytical models from first principles 
• Design, fabrication and testing of various components and sub-systems 
• Development of interface specifications 
• Assembly and testing of sub-systems and systems 
• Working with vendors on design and procurement of components 
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment 

Minimum Qualifications 
• B.S. in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering 
• 5+ years experience 
• Good hands on/laboratory skills 
• Good documentation skills 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment 
• Attention to detail 
• Good communication skills (oral and written) 
• Ability to mentor junior technologists 
• Proficiency in Office applications 

Desired Qualifications 
• M.S. in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering 
• 3+ years experience 

Experience in one or more of the following areas: 
• Fuel cell systems, preferably PEM/DMFC 
• Heat transfer and heat exchangers 
• Fluid transfer and pumps 
• Gas/liquid separation 
• Control systems and sensors 
• MEMs processing and devices 
• Math modeling/CFD experience 
• LabView experience 
• CAD experience, preferably SolidWorks

Process Engineer II in Malabo, West Africa

Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering. HYSIS modeling and basic Microsoft applications required. Ability to resolve issues with design institutes and propose/negotiate solutions. Good communication/interpersonal skills. Ability to deliver goals and objectives to agreed deadlines. Safety and Environmental Awareness a necessity.

Overall Design Appreciation: participate in the design of natural gas treating processes and facilities required for separation, dehydration, liquid extraction, non-hydrocarbon gas removal, product contaminant removal, and water disposal (both onshore and offshore facilities). Gas Supply System: ensure that th design for gas collection: wellhead to plant inlet battery limit meets the requirements of the plant and to ensure that start-up and gas volume variations can be accommodated without the occurrence of hydrates. Process Control and Instrumentation: ensure that control and instrumentation of the process and gas collection system are compatible. Ensure plant safety with appropriate operating and fail-safe standards. Process Software Simulation: Run HYSYS so that process performance design checks can be completed. Assist Plant Superintendent in development  of solutions to operational problems. Develop understanding detailed workings of onshore processes and offshore facilities.  Initiate efforts as required to increase efficiency and improve gas and liquid product value. Provide technical support to assist in obtaining required permits and approvals from appropriate government agencies.  Provide training to plant operations personnel on environmental impact safety implications of process and chemicals, maintaining process reliability, and proper operating practices and procedures to contribute to optimum plant performance and safe operation. Participate in the continuous development of safe work practices operating produces and promote environmental stewardship through example. Support company’s global performance system process by personal involvement in activities to enhance performance in Health, Environment, Safety and Corporate Social Responsibility. Position Summary

Implement the production plan in the form of an operational schedule, with the appropriate fixed horizon, that minimizes inventory and maximizes efficient utilization of labor and production capacity.

·          Perform capacity analysis for labor and production equipment to determine feasibility for the production plan.

·         Create the short-term fixed schedule and orchestrate the implementation of that schedule.

·         Update and monitor reporting systems to insure appropriate progress of the fixed schedule, vendor production, deliveries, and new product launches.

·         Coordinate flow of packaging components from vendors to manufacturing operations or sub contractors.

·         Identify and reconcile inventory discrepancies within the department or assigned manufacturing area.

·         Initiate and follow up on writ offs of rejected or obsolete finished goods, component or bulk product.

·         Maintain finished goods “Q-Stat” report and expedite release of salable inventory and project releases dates to customer service departments.

·         Generate all necessary and required reports in a timely manner.

·         Implement all L’Oreal policies and procedures including, but not limited to, the Corporation’s Equal Employment Opportunity Policy and applicable safety and health procedures.

·         Perform other duties as necessary or required.

 

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Education:
BS/BA degree in Engineering/Business Management or equivalent experience.
Experience:
Three (3) to five (5) years experience in a manufacturing environment in cosmetics or related field with at least three (3) years experience in production planning preferred.

Position Description: Provide Process Engineering assistance in support of Refinery goals/objectives. Position will include monitoring and troubleshooting the refining processes. Responsibilities will also include process design, project development, and economics and planning. Experience preferred in FCCU, Delayed Coking, CCR Platforming, High Severity Hydrotreating, and sulfur handling. Must be able to develop and/or maintain heat and material balances around process units and be experienced using Process Simulators and Distributed Control Systems. Operations or Supervisory experience is a plus. Other areas of interest include budgeting, LP development and operation, short/long term yield estimation, crude and product price forecasting, variable expense tracking, backcasting, and yield accounting support.
