Requirements:
– Requires a BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering with 5-10 years experience in the areas of semiconductor manufacturing, product engineering, packaging, and quality engineering
– Experience in semiconductor qualification processes and reliability procedures, especially with regard to semiconductor packaging
– Expertise with industry standards such as ISO 9001, TS16949, WEEE, ELV, RoHS, and other agency compliance rules
– Experience tracking and reporting status of qualifications, including generating plans, reviewing test results, decision-making regarding non-compliant products, and working with internal factories, as well as external foundries and subcontractor assembly and test sites
– Enjoys frequent interaction with customers and internal groups involved with planning, product development, design, test, marketing, sales and manufacturing, across regional and global divisions
– Expertise in root cause identification, preventative actions, and corrective actions regarding quality issues in manufacturing and business processes
– Well-organized, proactive, highly motivated engineer with the ability to get results without possessing direct authority over various resources
– Should have good working knowledge of common software tools such as Web browsers (IE), Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of Lotus Notes would be beneficial
– Expertise with problem solving methodologies such as 8D or PDCA
– Experience in Test and Process SPC is beneficial
– Hands-on ISO/TS Audit experience is a plus

Desirable Skills:
- Communication protocols, TCP/IP, RS232, Ethernet, and related protocols
- Knowledge of electronic test equipment. Optics or optical systems, nanotechnology, medical device, automation (including paper sorting, currency sorting), metrology, sensors are all good sources of experience. May consider telecom with the right combination of skills
- Strong cross-platform client/server expertise

Will develop embedded software for GSM and possible GPS wireless consumer based electronics. Will help analyze hardware defects and troubleshoot advanced board level issues. Seeking senior level embedded / firmware engineer to work on exciting scientific applications involving sensors. A unique role that will offer exposure into image processing as well. Will work in a small vibrant, and well established company while wearing many hats. Most of the role is focused on very low level embedded software.
