RFIC Layout / Design Engineer, Contract, $45-60 per hour, N. Dallas Suburbs/ Asia

Your expertise in RFIC layout and design with wireless transceivers for mobile handset applications and your many years of working with Cadence SpectraRF or later updates will be an asset to the team. You will work towards a tape out involving the deep submicron CMOS process. You will modify, optimize, and perform some RFIC circuit design. This contract opportunity is anticipated to take last for 4 to 6 months. International travel is required. There are two options, but the most plausible will be that you will be stationed overseas for 2-3 months and then return to DFW (or perhaps stationed elsewhere depending on special circumstances).

Requirements:

– BSEE or MSEE from an accredited university is required
– 8-10+ years experience in RFIC layout with strong expertise in RF circuits and large blocks of digital circuits on the same CMOS substrate
– Strong experience with Cadence SpectraRF or later updates for extraction and simulation required
– Specific experience with handset transceiver applications for commercial mobile devices preferred
– Ability and willingness to work in Asia for extended time periods of up to 3 months
– Ability to work independently and take responsibility for the project
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills; multi-lingual would be a plus

Process Engineer II in Malabo, West Africa

Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering. HYSIS modeling and basic Microsoft applications required. Ability to resolve issues with design institutes and propose/negotiate solutions. Good communication/interpersonal skills. Ability to deliver goals and objectives to agreed deadlines. Safety and Environmental Awareness a necessity.

Overall Design Appreciation: participate in the design of natural gas treating processes and facilities required for separation, dehydration, liquid extraction, non-hydrocarbon gas removal, product contaminant removal, and water disposal (both onshore and offshore facilities). Gas Supply System: ensure that th design for gas collection: wellhead to plant inlet battery limit meets the requirements of the plant and to ensure that start-up and gas volume variations can be accommodated without the occurrence of hydrates. Process Control and Instrumentation: ensure that control and instrumentation of the process and gas collection system are compatible. Ensure plant safety with appropriate operating and fail-safe standards. Process Software Simulation: Run HYSYS so that process performance design checks can be completed. Assist Plant Superintendent in development  of solutions to operational problems. Develop understanding detailed workings of onshore processes and offshore facilities.  Initiate efforts as required to increase efficiency and improve gas and liquid product value. Provide technical support to assist in obtaining required permits and approvals from appropriate government agencies.  Provide training to plant operations personnel on environmental impact safety implications of process and chemicals, maintaining process reliability, and proper operating practices and procedures to contribute to optimum plant performance and safe operation. Participate in the continuous development of safe work practices operating produces and promote environmental stewardship through example. Support company’s global performance system process by personal involvement in activities to enhance performance in Health, Environment, Safety and Corporate Social Responsibility. Bachelors required or Equivalent Experience; familiar with IBM compatible systems and Microsoft support software, planning.scheduling software and SAP PM. 5-10 years of supervisory experience or 15 years experience in a maintenance role. Must possess hands on experience, as training EG nations is a major portion of job scope.

Responsible for the development, modification and execution of maintenance programs for all machinery and equipment  Monitors, controls, manages and audits the storage and use of spare parts, consumables and other materials necessary for onshore and offshore operations. Responsible for intervention an turnaround activities.  Responsible for planning/scheduling of daily maintenance and operations activities, interventions, and turnaround activities.  Responsible to ensure program support for computerized maintenance management system SAP PM, quality control for data entry and effectiveness of reporting system.  Accountable to ensure that planned and unplanned maintenance of all facilities is executed in a cost effective manner while maintaining and improving equipment reliability and availability.  Assists with and supervises training and safety programs.  Ensures highest safety standards are maintained by all maintenance personnel.  Conduct regular safety meetings and assist in all emergency drills and exercises as required.  Support global performance system process by personal involvement in activities to enhance performance in Health, Environment, Safety and Corporate Social Responsibility.  By accepting this assignment, one is also agreeing to be an active participant in one, or more of the Emergency Response Teams, eg.
