Join an established 7+ year old firm that is expanding. The company has doubled its revenue over the last 3 years! Candidate will develop leading edge Windows Device Drivers for multimedia processing electronics (this company develops board and application layer electronics not semiconductor and micro-processor electronics). Will interact with an expert team of engineers (Hardware, embedded, application, mechanical) to deliver custom solutions and advanced high volume consumer electronics. Will develop robust device drivers and expand skill base into the Linux driver and kernel world. Room for growth and ample technical challenge. Small vibrant setting where you can wear many hats!

Skills sought include:

3-5+ years of C/C++ Device Driver development. Must have some Windows DDK experience. 2+ years of Windows based driver experience (DDK or NDIS).

Individual should have 8+ years of experience with engineering of flight avionics equipment. Certification knowledge should include FAA DO-160/DO-178 or DOD equivalents. Education and hands-on design in a core engineering discipline (EE, SW, ME, AERO) and a proven track record of taking an aviation product through STC required. Piloting background desired.

Fantastic role working with a privately owned organization who is dominating their market-place. They currently hold over 50% of the market-share nation wide for their primary customer industry. This small (<200) but growing and profitable firm that has doubled its revenue is the last 3 years is seeking an embedded software engineer to work on advanced video streaming, and MPEG decoders for video content delivery and sophisticated, compact and robust set-top boxes. In this position you will develop embedded and application code. An adjacent role will focus on higher level application development using Linix and Java!. Positions will focus on the development of software for Video streaming, RF and MPEG Decoders. You will also develop and integrate software in full-life cycle projects for both custom projects, and core products. This will be a challenge and the work is fast paced and refreshing. In this position you will wear many hats and be rewarded with significant challenge and opportunity to learn new skills in the embedded-Linux, kernel and device driver markets.
