And 1 MW size power storage and generation systems.  One of the Prosser Group’s goals to develop and commercialize combined cycle natural gas engine with an energy storage system-steam turbine system. Job Description: The ideal candidate will have a B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or in related fields with several years experience doing engineering trade studies involving thermodynamic and economic trade studies. He or she will be working in a fast-paced start-up, interacting with scientists and design engineers from a variety of backgrounds but also be capable of working independently to perform needed thermodynamic and economic trade studies. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, he or she must be a strong team player, able to take initiative, and detail oriented. The candidate will work closely with teammates to understand and resolve product performance issues.

Requirements

Position Requirements: – Advanced degree, or equivalent experience, in thermodynamics, physics, engineering or related fields. – Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and developing thermodynamic analysis, trade studies, design and development.   Excellent knowledge of automated design and analysis tools.  Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills – Product development and / or industry experience in a multi-disciplinary energy environment is a plus.
