• Must have excellent communication (verbal and written) skills. • The successful candidate will have a BS, MS or MBA…. Ideally, a MS in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Geologist or related field and Certification/Registration as PE or PG is preferred. • 8-12 years of related Environmental Services Operational experience, including 2-4 years of related supervisory/management experience. This Manager will lead all office operations including: • The strategic development of the Western NY marketplace. • **Developing diversification and business development strategies and execution of a strategic business plan which will foster business development growth and expansion of professional staff.** • The ability to develop and coordinate an environment that encourages and fosters teamwork, collaboration and mentoring of staff. • Possess a passion and expertise for providing growth opportunities to every member of the team and partnering with clients as a trusted advisor. • P&L and all other financial facets of running an office.

Client Company, a leading consulting firm providing Environmental and Engineering services to Municipalities, Government agencies, Multinational companies and Industrial concerns has an immediate need for an Operations/Area Manager in their Syracuse, New York office. The Great Lakes Region (GLR) has an immediate opening for an Operations, Area Manager in the Syracuse, NY office. The Syracuse office, opened in the spring of 2007, has a very dynamic and talented team of 15 employees with a well balanced workload of public and private contracts providing traditional environmental assessment and remediation, environmental engineering, and industrial hygiene service throughout the region.
