Position Profile: Work as a Transportation Engineer 2 supporting the delivery of the Washington State Ferries Terminal Capital program. Duties include assisting in the organizing, analyzing and development of program management and project control and reporting documents and spreadsheets.
The successful candidate will:
• Have the ability to identify budget coding discrepancies and make corrections.
• Have the ability to reconcile status of Terminal Engineering budget with WSF and Headquarters Budget and Accounting Offices.
• Have the ability to use Mainframe applications and computer software.
• Have the ability to work with a diverse group of people.
• Have the ability to develop training materials.
Desired qualifications include:
Certification as an Engineer-In-Training and one year of experience as a Transportation Engineer 1, Transportation Technician 3, Bridge Engineer 1 or equivalent.
OR
Two years of experience as a Transportation Engineer 1, Transportation Technician 3, Bridge Engineer 1 or equivalent.
OR
A Master’s degree with major study in civil engineering, structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, soil mechanics, traffic, transportation or a closely related field.
Required Qualifications Include:
Valid Washington State Driver’s License

Compensation: $47,220-$61,956 annually depending on qualifications.

Note: This position is covered by a union shop provision.
