In this key customer-facing role as Field Applications Engineer, you will maintain relationships with engineering contacts, sales representatives and distributor field personnel. Assist in resolving customer issues related to product performance, circuit implementation, prototypes and other critical support needs. Serve as liaison with sales force, engineers, and customers, and provide training to sales personnel. Create new product proposals and define new product specs, while providing feedback to marketing in support of product development and introduction. Documentation such as application and design notes for company literature and website, along with weekly status reports for senior management, will be part of your responsibility. You will travel throughout a defined territory and may have some overseas travel. Requirements:
– BSEE or relevant engineering degree, along with extensive analog circuit design and development experience
– Must have a strong design background the analog IC design space. Must also have moved into either an AE or FAE role. Candidate must have experience from both areas
– Strong knowledge of market factors along with customer-facing experience in a similar role
– Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation skills
– Ability and desire to travel as needed for success in the role
– Strong teamwork skills; self-direction; ability to set priorities and meet goals in a fast-paced high-growth environment

Areas considered a plus: PMIC, Buck converter, Discrete, Mosfets, transistors, linear products, DC-DC, LED Driver, converters. This is not an RF, PA, power supply, MMIC or related type role although our firm does represent DFW based companies in these areas. A strong mixed signal or digital background is not the focus here.
