Contract FPGA Design Engineer, to $55/hr, Richardson, TX

Join this fast-growth Fortune 500 Company on a key project and take responsibility for development of the high level design and documentation of the high speed digital section of a compact base station transceiver and power supply. The contract is for a 4 to 6 months (target). You must have experience in the design of high speed digital boards with SERDES interfaces operating in excess of 2 Gbps. In addition, you should have experience with designs utilizing FPGAs, DSP processors, and memory interfaces. Requirements:

– BSEE or MSEE plus 5 to 10 years experience
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience with technical documentation
– Experience with SERDES interfaces operating in excess of 2 Gbps
