Contract RF Design Engineer, to $55/hr DOE, Richardson TX

Bring your RF Design Engineering expertise to a global company in this important contract role. You will research RF component and RFIC vendors, analyze their products for applicability to the femto-cell and pico-cell transceiver requirements, and conduct lab evaluations. Take responsibility for development of the hardware requirements related to the RF front-end circuits and RFICs. This is a four to six month contract opening. Requirements:
– BSEE (minimum) or MSEE plus 5-10 years of related experience
– Expertise in RF transceiver design and testing
– Recent and relevant experience with new and developing 3GPP and WiMax standards
– Familiarity with test equipment required to test 3GPP and WiMax devices and the associated testing methodologies
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and experience with technical documentation
