DSP Engineer – North Dallas areas. Salary 100-135K target
Responsibilities:
– Design and simulate novel signal processing algorithms in Matlab
– Write well commented code and documentation to provide support for integration of signal processing blocks into the system architecture, as well as provide user control of the algorithms
– Work in a team environment to resolve complex problems that require a high level of ingenuity and innovation
General Qualifications:
– 5+ years non-academic, on the job experience in Signal Processing
– Experience with wavelet-based signal processing algorithms particularly for modulation and/or compression applications
– Broad familiarity with signal processing algorithm development, optimization and simulation methods with an emphasis on:
-ADC and DAC interfaces
-Signal conditioning
– MUST HAVE DSL, and MATLAB on the job experience
-Up and down sampling
-Adaptive interference and echo cancellation
-Elementary and advanced coding
-Modern modulation
-Cyclical compensation techniques
-Adaptive transmit and receive equalization and spectral shaping
-Clock and data synchronization
– Experience mapping signal processing algorithms to high performance FPGA and ASIC architectures
– Doctoral or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or Applied Mathematics with an emphasis on advanced digital signal processing for telecommunications or a related field
– 3+ years of applicable experience in signal processing algorithm development
