Field Applications Engineer (Analog, Power Management and related areas) – North Dallas area 90-110K target

Join an expanding, vibrant organization and group that is new to the North Dallas area. Company is seeking to elevate their Applications Engineering staff by adding an advanced engineer who has experience in working in Technical Design and highly advanced customer support. Will design reference applications that demonstrate the effectiveness of the company’s products and portfolio. Will maintain working relationships with key engineering contacts, sales representatives and distributor FAEs. Will resolve customer issues relating to parametric performance, circuit implementation, prototyping and pre-production support. Will frequently travel to customer sites and interact with a multitude of key decision makers, technologies and industry leaders. Other critical responsibilities include:
– Applications/Technical support to Sales Network
– Sales Network Product/Applications training
– Presenting the company’s, products to prospective customers
– Training sales personnel
– New product proposals and definition of new product specification requirements
– Providing feedback to Strategic Marketing to support new product development and introduction
– Assisting in the creation of Application and Design notes for inclusion into Applications literature

Skills sought:
- Previous analog or mixed signal design expertise (4+ years)
- A candidate who genuinely enjoys for customer interaction and possesses exceptional communication skills
- Thorough understanding of analog applications (down to the circuit)
- Ideal candidate will have a strong background in the following areas (any combo) Power (DC-DC), regulators, transistors, Amplifiers, linear products, converters, buck/boost, LED IC’s, MOSFET etc
- Will consider any strong analog background (design) coupled with excellent FAE experience. 5-10+ years of experience
- BSEE, MSEE (a plus)
