ILEC Network Analyst, excellent benefits, near downtown Dallas

Bring your strong expertise in ILEC interconnection planning and ordering to this growing and profitable company located south of downtown. Reporting to the Manager of Network Services, you will handle the full cycle of planning and port ordering processes, from order generation to service delivery. Expertise in pricing, compliance, reporting, and understanding and documenting service plan components is required. You will take code groups, LERG lookups, handle and document switch homing arrangements, tandems, subtending offices, make recommendations and implement service plans. You will plan ILEC (local and access) facilities requirements based on forecasted needs. You will also serve as liaison between carriers and company support personnel and monitor work-in-progress within all databases to ensure timely performance and service delivery. Requirements:
– Prior, recent ILEC / CLEC / RLEC experience must be clearly shown on resume
– Knowledge of E911 requirements and network arrangements
– Expertise in industry practices and terminology regarding transport planning, homing and interconnections
– MS Office skills, with emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint and Access
– Detail-oriented, proactive, self-starter, resourceful, with ability to stay organized and multitask, while prioritizing and balancing multiple projects and tasks
– Excellent written, verbal, and teamwork skills and good judgment
– High school diploma plus 3-5 years telecom experience required; Associates Degree is a plus
– Must have ability to work a flexible schedule when necessary
