Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience in performing and/or directing the work performed on process analyzers, programmable logic controllers, distributive control systems, tank gauging systems and general refinery instrumentation.

Develops and implements policies, procedures, interfaces, reporting, etc. to effectively manage the completion and documentation of the Instrument Mechanic work. Works with the Maintenance Area Planner and Turnaround Planners to identify material requirements and job plans for the completion of instrument work as needed. Works with the Maintenance Area Foreman and directly with the instrument mechanics to support the completion of the work in the field. Evaluates new instrument equipment for its potential use in the field to improve reliability. Evaluates instrument mechanic contractor resources and provides recommendations for utilizing them in the field. Identifies spare part requirements for critical instrumentation. Makes recommendations for preventative maintenance on instrumentation, Acts as the project manager for identified instrumentation projects. Is utilized by the area team to provide recommendations for instrument improvements and provides feedback to engineering on the maintenance perspective of new installations.

Must be a citizen of USA or current Green Card holder
Must come from Petro Chemical background (continuous) or petroleum refining industry.
