MATLAB, Algorithm, Sr. Software Engineer – Contract, $40-50 (W2) target, North Dallas Suburb

Seeking a Senior Software / Modeling engineer to develop complex opto-electronic sensor system involving advanced algorithms for image processing. This position will develop a broad range of image processing algorithms in Matlab and support their implementation in C to run on TI 645x class DSPs.

Experience should include image processing (key for this role), pattern recognition, statistical signal processing, detection, estimation, filtering, tracking, and simulation. Please send MS formatted resumes to resume [at] alynpatrick [dot] com

REQUIREMENTS
• MS degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or comparable degree with applicable experience
• 15 years of experience developing high-performance image/signal processing algorithms
• Must have very heavy MATLAB (on the job versus pure academia) experience
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated analytical/problem solving skills
• Experience developing and working with small group problem solving teams
• Experience with TI Code Composer Studio and 645x DSPs desired
• Experience using revision control and defect-tracking software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
