Mechanical Engineer, Thermal Testing Expert, $45-55 per hour, N Dallas Suburbs

Bring your Mechanical Engineering and Thermal Testing skills to a rapid-growth company raising the bar of excellence in the data communications arena. You may be either an ME who has thermal testing experience, or an ME who is knowledgeable enough about thermal testing to project manage a vendor relationship with an outsourced testing firm. The company would prefer to hire a salaried employee but will also consider a contract-to-hire arrangement. Requirements:

 

– BSME or MSME degree required

– Thermal Dynamics experience, either expertise in testing, or experience in managing outside vendors

– Thermal Testing experience

– Thermal Simulation experience

– Front Panel and Cabinet Design

– Material Cost Optimizer

– Familiarity with high performance electronics design solutions such as Icepak, FloTherm, or CF Design. Strongly prefer Icepak.

– Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

– Desire to grow and thrive in a fast-paced technological environment
