Product Engineer, Salary DOE, North Dallas suburbs

You will research and develop RF components for wireless and broadband markets. These high volume SMT components are designed for excellent performance and very low cost with a short time-to-market requirement. Products include directional couplers, broadband mixers, power splitters and transformers. Regular responsibilities will include verification testing; qualification testing as required; creating final drawings, test procedures, and other documentation, and releasing to document control for production, along with assisting in development of datasheets. You will utilize general RF and microwave test equipment, lab equipment, and temperature chambers. Requirements:

– Experience and mechanical ability in designing test fixtures
– Minimum 4+ years of RF test experience. Excellent product engineering experience.
– Experience with engineering design CAD tools such as AutoCad, and MS Office, including Excel
– BSEE or equivalent combination of education and experience
– Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience with technical documentation
