Growing, vibrant Semiconductor firm is seeking a Product Line manager with some P&L responsibility! Will manage one the company’s major Product lines. The position has approximately 7 Direct reports. Thirty percent of the role will focus on management of product and process development strategies. This will involves interfacing with Marketing, Engineering and manufacturing. Will monitor industry trends. Thirty percent of the role will focus on customer specific issues, sales support, quality analysis and support of the general business unit operations. Will support issues related to complaints/returns etc. Will manage the manufacturing process and the challenges of new product introduction. The remainder of the role involves day-to-day operations. Managing and implementing the strategy. Will develop new processes and new improvements for the business operations. Travel is to be expected with the role. Will travel to Asia every quarter for 2 weeks. Overall travel can exceed 25%; this will include Europe and domestic. Please only apply if you come from the semiconductor industry. Requirements:

– BSEE, with Masters Degree ideal. Prefer MBA.
– Excellent communication and organizational skills.
– Ability to speak Mandarin is a plus.
– 10+ years of semiconductor experience.
– Prefer analog, discrete or mixed signal industry experience.
– 5+ years as a Product Engineer or Product Marketing engineer.
– 3+ years Operations experience.
– Strong understanding of finance, business operations and business development specifically within the semiconductor market.
– Will consider a Senior Product Line engineer or Product Marketing engineer who is ready for the next step in management.
