Production Technician, 6-Month Contract target, North Dallas

If your background includes expertise with electro-mechanical assembly operations, including inspection of raw materials and system level quality oversight, you will enjoy this role at a growing high-tech firm offering essential services to Fortune clients. Working in tandem with the Systems Technician, you will keep a major project on track, including documentation, work instructions, and necessary reports. You will perform inspection of raw materials, use calipers to examine and vet specs on engineering drawings, use height gages, and other measurement techniques and tools, including basic hand tools. Maintenance of weekly material levels needed to keep material flow available for projects, along with using GUI to follow quality manuals and perform final system verification. Requirements:
– 5+ years experience in a high energy, high tech production environment
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, teamwork skills, and computer skills
– Ability to follow detailed work instructions and to read controlled engineering drawing, prints and specs
– Able to work well with hand tools and life and carry up to twenty pounds
– Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and work well in a fast-paced growth environment
– Associates degree or higher in mechanical- or electronics-related technology is desirable
