RF Power Amplifier Design Engineer, $45-60 per hr, North Dallas

This astute multi-disciplinary team of engineers needs an excellent RF Power Amplifier Design Engineer to facilitate development of the latest products for its wireless line. You will develop high efficiency radio frequency power amplifier designs and platforms for broadband wireless systems. Responsibilities include conducting schematic capture and PCB layout of RF power amplifiers and other RF circuits. You will develop PA linearization techniques, along with efficiency improvement techniques, i.e., pre-distortion, Doherty, envelope tracking and more. Other duties include construction of non-linear models of power circuits, performance simulation using ADS (linear and harmonic balance), optimization of PA bias and ensuring that circuits fulfill requirements for efficiency and linearity. Test and verification of PA benchmarks such as ACPR, EVM and PAE, along with documentation, analysis and trade studies, are functions of this role. This stable global company provides a generous flexible benefits package, including insurance packages, paid time off, a bonus, 401-K with match and more. The company will consider relocating a superior candidate. A salaried employee is preferred, but a contractor with these skills will also be given consideration.
