Take on this leadership role with the MMIC design team at a company producing next-generation products for advanced communication products used by public, private and government clients. You will design and develop MMIC products for Point-to-Point and VaST applications for both package-level and die-level products, using company technologies. You will take responsibility for key design processes including MMIC design and layout, PCB layout for package testing, and device and circuit characterization. You will enjoy interaction with a razor-sharp engineering group and experienced management team as you work together to translate requirements into successful product development plans and meet progressive goals. Requirements
– BSEE and MSEE with 8 yrs or more experience in MMIC design and development
– Ph. D. in electrical engineering with at 6+ yrs MMIC design experience
– Exceptional communication and presentation skills and ability to communicate technology concepts to internal, external and non-technical audiences
– Microwave / Millimeter-wave TX/RX MMIC design (e.g., PA, LNA, Switch, Converter / Mixer, VCO, and / or Disturbed Amplifier)
– Highly linear PA and/or converter/mixer design experience
– Microwave and EM simulation/layout tools such as ADS, AWR-MWO, Momentum, Sonnet, IE3D, and HFSS
– Hands-on microwave testing and diagnostics
Desirable Skills
– Significant experience in design and development of linear power amplifiers from C-band to Ka-band
– Strong experience in converter/mixer design and related product development
– High-frequency EM modeling and design of packages and modules
