Required Skills:

  • At least 10 years experience in transmission systems engineering.
  • Excellent knowledge of automatic transmissions and driveline systems, especially design, engineering, validation and launch.
  • Outstanding communication capabilities, the natural team leader with authority, energy and application.
  • Strong computing and presentation skills with Microsoft Office products.
  • Willingness to take on new challenges and training.
  • Minimum of a Bachelors degree in either Mechanical or Electrical engineering.

General Job Description:

Senior Engineer required providing high-value consulting engineering services to our clients. Specialization in the field of transmission and driveline systems engineering is required. Particular knowledge of transmission low voltage electrical components and items such as pumps, valves, solenoids, valve body system, hydraulics, clutches, internal wiring, control, power and signal distribution is an advantage. Strong knowledge of the design and engineering of transmission systems from concept design and specification through to production launch is a pre-requisite. Typical consulting assignments will span the field of powertrain and transmission systems hardware engineering to include Hybrid Powertrains, Active AWD and Dual Clutch transmissions for example. Opportunities exist for travel.
