The ideal candidate will have a strong software quality management background with heavy focus in CMM and SEI Processes in a manufacturing environment. Take overall responsibility for the quality of software-driven products combining software, hardware and mechanical systems. Your background in software design, development and testing will be essential to success. You will initiate quality improvements, develop effective measurements, and ensure that metrics are meeting requirements. Strategic planning, administration, and personnel guidance will be required. This role will include incorporating quality improvement into business and engineering processes, design control, HW and SW configuration management, product construction and product testing. Leading supplier quality initiatives and interacting with internal and external project management is part of this role. REQUIREMENTS:

– BSCS, BSEE or similar degree and 5+ years relevant SW quality management

– Must have Heavy CMM and SEI experience with concentration in Safety critical software (must have)

– Strong understanding of quality philosophies, principles, methods, tools, standards

– A thorough understanding of software inspection, testing, verification, and validation

– Knowledge of software configuration management including archives, audit, and release processes

– Experience developing and implementing software quality programs, as well as tracking, analyzing, reporting, problem resolution, and training

– Ability to understand and implement software development and maintenance processes and methods to quantify problems and asses risks

– Basic understanding of project management

– Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and leadership skills.
