Sr. Test Engineer/Designer in Seattle, WA

We are currently seeking a Sr. Test Engineer/Designer who will partner with a Fortune 500 Company located in Seattle, WA. Looking for someone that is available full time hours Mon.-Fri on a long term contractual basis. This position pays between $73,000 and $100,000/year DOE.

Candidate Responsibilities:
-The candidate must be able to design qualification/production tests given a product specification, develop test plans and tests, and design the hardware and software that implements the tests.
-Hardware design involves signal conditioning, A/D conversion, signal processing, high power, and high voltage hardware design.
-Software design involves data processing and managing, simple user interface, and good programming practices using robust algorithms. The candidate must produce final test systems with associated documentation that can up to regulatory scrutiny.

Candidate Profile:
-Candidate must have at least a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering with 5-10 years of experience in test/hardware design and must have experience writing software in the Windows environment (i.e. Lab View, VB, C#, VEE).
-Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment.
-Good Communication skills.
-Be able to: work independently, achieve effective results under an aggressive schedule, solve problems effectively, works well with others, interfaces well with other departments and outside resources and is willing to take on difficult challenges.
