Tandel Systems has extensive experience developing real-time aerospace and defense systems. We have the project management skills and the systems engineering capability to work with our customers to deliver fully tested real-time hardware/software capability for defense, space and civil aviation systems. We also have extensive experience with flight test systems development, independent verification and validation, and legacy systems upgrades. Tandel is seeking several flight controls engineer positions with experience in developing Matlab & Simulink models we prefer 5-6 years of experience at Minimum for some positions. The Skills needed are as follows: 1. Must be an expert MATLAB Simulink modeler. 2. Must have previous fly-by-wire flight controls experience a. Primary b. Highlift c. Autoflight/Autopilot 3. Must be knowledgeable of DOORS requirements management 4. Excellent written and verbal skills. Software background required (preferably real time embedded) Must understand software design (e.g., functional decomposition). Aerospace Systems Engineer – Wichita, Kansas Tectura We currently have an opening for a System Engineer in our Applied Engineering Solutions team. Job Description: Aerospace Systems Engineers use their understanding of the Systems Engineering processes, methodology and techniques to develop, validate and manage product-level system/sub-system requirements and architectures. These individuals will ensure system integration and will allocate requirements and define integrated functional specifications for systems, elements and subsystems, to determine the functional, physical, and procedural interfaces between them. Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and validate product-level system requirements (e.g., performance, operation, function) through predictive modeling mission analysis and functional test.
- Develop and execute risk management strategies.
- Conceptualize and create preliminary system design alternatives.
- Manage design risk and configuration data from concept development through to product delivery and operational support.
Qualifications: We strongly prefer candidates with a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Science, Aerospace or related field (or equivalent).
