As an RF Design Engineer with RF Code, you will be a member of a team developing RFID systems to solve customer needs.  In this relatively new field, opportunity for innovation will challenge your mind and satisfy your need to create.

Day to day tasks include:

  • Defining solutions to solve customer needs in asset tracking
  • Analyzing trade-offs and resolving product features
  • Low Power RF Design, 300 MHz – 2.4 GHz
  • Manufacturing support and guidance
  • Design for Compliance
  • Schematic Capture, PCB layout
  • Embedded processor implementation and design
  • Scheduling, planning and negotiation
  • Troubleshooting, bug correction
  • Documentation
  • Testing of new designs and products

Position Requirements:

The successful candidate will have excelled in previous positions with technology firms and have at least 10 years of related experience.
Candidates will have:

  • Command of Radio Frequency Communication methods and implementation
  • Understanding of manufacturing and fabrication of designed product
  • Diverse skills that center around RF communication
  • A BSEE, related armed service training, Associate Degree or aligned industry experience
  • Thorough knowledge of diagnostic and measurement tools used in engineering; Oscilloscope, meters, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Required skills include:

  • RF Design, analog design, implementation, troubleshooting and documentation, ultra low power design

Additional skills are a plus:

  • Digital Design, embedded design, asm and C programming, mechanical design, passive RFID

Required Skills : Requires a BSEE or BSCS and 5 years of verification experience, preferably in mixed signal products. The main requirement is a strong background in Verilog, with experience in digital and mixed signal verification. The candidate must have strong scripting skills in Perl, Unix/Linux shell, TCL, and must be able to write and debug analog behavioral models in both Verilog, SystemVerilog, and VerilogA. Knowledge of Verilog Assertions is also a plus. The proven ability to create, evaluate, debug, and improve a verification process is essential for this position.

General Job Description : A physical verification engineer is needed for supporting our LVS/DRC flows. Experience should include ability to write DRC rules, build devices and device recognition in LVS, and also understand ERC checks and rules. Experience with Calibre LVS/DRC is encouraged, but not required. An understanding of Calibre xRC and LPE device-level extraction is optional, but an added bonus. The ideal candidate should have experience importing decks from the foundry and migrating into a standard infrastructure. Ideal candidates would also be able to maintain existing decks, add sufficient checks for missing rules, and be capable of driving methodology for running DRC, LVS, and possibly extraction (Calibre Interactive, LSF, etc.).

General Job Description: Responsible for managing the team members, projects, equipment and schedules and for enhancing and implementing in-house automated front-end verification and validation test procedures in support of high performance mixed signal analog converters, Class D digital power amplifiers and digital interface products. In addition this position requires individual technical contribution in the design and development of an FPGA to support the next generation of high-speed digital audio networking products from Cirrus Logic. The candidate will provide strong technical leadership in the development and validation of the required FPGA and associated board circuitry
