Overall Responsibilities
Perform as an integral team member in the development of stand-alone portable power solutions in order to meet prototype and product development timelines. As a Systems Engineer in the Engineering group, responsibilities will include:
• Development of analytical models from first principles
• Design, fabrication and testing of various components and sub-systems
• Development of interface specifications
• Assembly and testing of sub-systems and systems
• Working with vendors on design and procurement of components
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Minimum Qualifications
• B.S. in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years experience
• Good hands on/laboratory skills
• Good documentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Attention to detail
• Good communication skills (oral and written)
• Ability to mentor junior technologists
• Proficiency in Office applications
Desired Qualifications
• M.S. in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
• 3+ years experience
Experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Fuel cell systems, preferably PEM/DMFC
• Heat transfer and heat exchangers
• Fluid transfer and pumps
• Gas/liquid separation
• Control systems and sensors
• MEMs processing and devices
• Math modeling/CFD experience
• LabView experience
• CAD experience, preferably SolidWorks

Position Description: Provide Process Engineering assistance in support of Refinery goals/objectives. Position will include monitoring and troubleshooting the refining processes. Responsibilities will also include process design, project development, and economics and planning. Experience preferred in FCCU, Delayed Coking, CCR Platforming, High Severity Hydrotreating, and sulfur handling. Must be able to develop and/or maintain heat and material balances around process units and be experienced using Process Simulators and Distributed Control Systems. Operations or Supervisory experience is a plus. Communicate directly with QA/QC laboratory to ensure effective participation by the process operators in the implementation of QA/QC policies and procedures. Drive startup effort at the facility; therefore, participate in staffing effort, lead procedure development, lead operational training effort, identify/secure critical supply and service agreements, lead the operation group during checkout and commissioning of the facility, etc.
