Requirements:

 

– BSEE/CE/CS plus 5+ years in test engineering

– 3+ years of engineering management experience

– 3+ years in a GSM, GPRS Wireless Terminal, or handset testing environment.  Wireless Modem, ANITE, Remote terminal emulation etc very beneficial

– Expertise in RF test techniques, including sensitivity, phase noise, spurious, BER, etc.

– C, C++, CVI, LabView and automated test definition, development and implementation, with both software and hardware

– Expertise in statistical process control techniques, applications and reporting

– Experience with assisting in the implementation of production test at remote manufacturing sites with contract vendors

– Ability to bring projects to completion on schedule and within budget in an environment with multiple projects and priorities

Requirements:

– Minimum requirement, 4 year degree in Engineering or related; MSEE is preferred. MBA helpful but not a requirement
– 10+ years experience as an engineer in the electronics design field. Candidate will come from a hardware design background in the digital or analog board level space. Systems design knowledge very important too.
– Must have experience leading design teams but not afraid to roll up sleeves and design a board. Not seeking someone far removed from the design itself.
– Must have experience gathering requirements’ from customers and ability to deliver effective presentations to the clients (important)
– Working knowledge of low level signal processing and electro-optic systems. Prefer some optics, sensor or RF industry experience.
– Experience with analog and digital circuits, constructing electronic circuit prototypes, and supervising electronics circuit repair
– Expertise with test equipment such as DVMs and oscilloscopes and comfortable working in a hands-on laboratory environment
– Well organized, focused, able to handle multiple priorities and projects, and with excellent communication skills.
– Knowledgeable of sensors, measurement techniques, and the modifications necessary to existing instrumentation in support of sales efforts
– Strong track record of driving engineering projects to satisfactory completion
– Ability to travel CA 20% (+/-) but not extensive

Desirable:

– Experience with PADs, ORCAD, and 3D CAD software (i.e., SolidWorks, Siemens PLM, Pro/Engineer)
