General Job Description :

PURPOSE: Ensures that facility and equipment is maintained to meet overall production objectives and to maximize utilization. Ensures equipment and office layouts meet safety and ergonomic requirements.

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree in an Engineering or Technical Field preferred. 5 years diverse manufacturing experience such as Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Facilities Planning, etc. Shop floor production experience in assembly, machining, welding, fabrication, or equipment maintenance is preferred. Experience with air-conditioning design and repair preferred. Must have experience with preventive maintenance programs for machine tools, large mechanical equipment and overhead cranes. Strong organizational, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Working knowledge of PC spreadsheets and word-processing software. Supervisory or project leadership experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Facilities Management System software and AutoCAD and other computer systems and applications that are used to make manufacturing / facilities management decisions. Budgeting & Expense Control, Financial Measurements and application to manufacturing management. Team building skills in a mixed-skills organizational unit. Safety, Quality and Environmental compliance requirements.
