Our client is looking for an Engineer with a minimum of seven years experience in the utility engineering field designing, managing, and constructing sanitary/storm sewer, and water distribution systems. This position is located south of Boston, MA.

 

Candidate should be familiar with CMOM/GASB standards and their implementation.

 

Responsibilities include developing proposal for and executing the design and service related work scope for collection/distribution systems, and other underground asset systems, interface with clients, and regulatory agencies, management of construction contracts, and other subcontract entities in service delivery. 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

 

- Minimum of seven years experience in the utility engineering field designing, managing, and constructing sanitary/storm sewer, and water distribution systems.

 

- Experience in SSES work on collection systems, piping rehab techniques, PACP pipe inspection, and the development and programming of piping system rehab programs.

 

- System asset management based GIS experience a plus.

General Job Description

Under direct supervision, responsible for performing basic engineering calculations, investigations, and tasks as assigned. Prepares or assists in preparing reports, graphs, planning layouts, costs estimates and summaries designed to communicate project progress or results. Interface with internal and external customers and suppliers.

Required Skills

The selected candidate will work with product lines, sales, marketing, customer and OEMs to support existing and new repair applications. Ongoing support will also be given to LEAN initiatives, Six Sigma, and JDI cost reduction projects. The selected candidate will possess a working knowledge of Auto CAD and CNC equipment. Projects may include tooling design, prototype, and 1st article production runs, as well as job planning and creation of job instructions.

In addition to excellent communications skills, successful candidates must possess a B.S. degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering with a minimum of 3 years experience in a “hands-on” production environment. Previous experience with the design, manufacturing, or repair of aerospace propulsion or airframe components is desirable. Additionally, candidates who have a background in the industries with robotics application and automation implementation are encouraged to apply.
