Headquartered in the Netherlands, ASML offers an integrated portfolio of lithography systems used by customers to facilitate complex integrated circuits.ASML is seeking an accomplished Reliability Engineer to join the Development and Engineering team in Wilton CT.Job Responsibilities:

  • • Drives the Reliability of the new or enhanced products
  • • Responsible for providing DFR (Design for Reliability) guidelines and inputs to the sub-systems, component and design teams through planning, coordinating and conducting reliability tests and analysis activities within both New Product Introduction (NPI) and Installed Base (IB) programs• Orchestrates FMEA deployment through the organization during the design phase
  • • Accountable for the definition and development of the vision, strategy and roadmap for deployment of new Tools in Reliability that are applied on completed modules (Mechatronics, Software, Electrical, Mechanical)• Requires direct involvement in the development of ASML systems to identify reliability issues and concerns and ensure reliability/serviceability expectations are met
  • • Responsible for the design and execution of reliability/serviceability tests including accelerated life testing, environmental stress screening, HALT, HASS, and reliability demonstration testing
  • • Researches new reliability processes by conducting experiments, identifying methods to demonstrate and predict product reliability
  • • Manages development schedule related to new or enhanced products
  • • Remains knowledgeable and in compliance with all company Environmental, Health and Safety practices and proactively address EHS issues that exist within the employee’s immediate work environment
  • • Performs other duties and/or special projects as assigned

 Minimum Qualifications

  • • Bachelor Degree in Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering; Master preferred
  • • Six Sigma certification
  • • Minimum of 5 years experience in DFR and Reliability Growth Testing including Accelerated Life Testing, Environmental Stress Screening, HALT, HASS, and burn-in testing
  • • Understands engineering concepts and applications of their respective technical discipline• Ability to interact easily with cross-functional peers
  • • Ability to generate well-written requirements and test protocols
  • • A passion for bringing the user’s perspective into the design and system development process
