Quality standards, test plans, and analysis of results will be part of your scope, as will recommending purchase of appropriate test tools. Mentoring, training and motivating your team in this highly technical environment will involve your verbal, written, and relationship-building skills.

Requirements:

 

– BSEE/CE/CS plus 5+ years in test engineering

– 3+ years of engineering management experience

– 3+ years in a GSM, GPRS Wireless Terminal, or handset testing environment.  Wireless Modem, ANITE, Remote terminal emulation etc very beneficial

– Expertise in RF test techniques, including sensitivity, phase noise, spurious, BER, etc.

– C, C++, CVI, LabView and automated test definition, development and implementation, with both software and hardware

– Expertise in statistical process control techniques, applications and reporting

– Experience with assisting in the implementation of production test at remote manufacturing sites with contract vendors

– Ability to bring projects to completion on schedule and within budget in an environment with multiple projects and priorities

– Excellent verbal, written, and team-building skills
