My client is a large Aerospace and Power Generation subcontract shop. They are currently involved in projects with companies such as Pratt & Whitney, Siemens Power, Ingersoll Rand, General Electric as well as other well known manufacturers. As this shop has continued to grow for the last 40 years, they are in search of a Senior Level Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities are as Follows:

  • Responsible for all aspects of Manufacturing Engineering from Sunrise to Sunset
  • Ability to Read and Quote from Client Blue Prints
  • Produce All Process Sheets
  • Specify Cutting Tools and all aspects of Machining
  • Knowledge of Welding
  • Resonsible for oversight of final inspection
  • Responsible for fixture Design
  • Must be able to deal with end client
  • Must be able to work in a team environment from shop floor personnel to Senior Level Management

Senior Aerodynamic / Hydrodynamic Engineer

We are seeking two senior level turbomachinery engineers, with a focus in the aerodynamic / hydrodynamic design and analysis areas.

Responsibilities include aero/hydro design and analysis of compressors, pumps, turbines (including steam turbines), turbochargers, and stationary turbomachinery components. Experience with both axial and radial turbomachinery is very beneficial.

Turbomachinery experience should include meanline design, three-dimensional flow path and blading design, and CFD analysis using modern design tools. Project management experience is critical. One of the available positions specifically calls for in-depth turbine design/analysis experience. Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skills are very important.

A minimum B.Sc., ME, and 10-15 years in aerodynamic/hydrodynamic design and analysis after the degree was earned, is expected.

– BSEE or equivalent education and experience required; MSEE desirable, plus 7+ years of experience
– Experience in designing components using the following processes: InGaP HBT, GaAs HBT, and GaAs pHEMT with a focus on class A and AB high linearity amplifiers up to 5W thru 6GHz
– Additional experience using technologies such as GaAsMESEFT, SiGe HBT, SiGe BiCMOS and GaN HEMT
– Experience working with technical and non-technical teams to bring products to market in a fast-paced, high tech company
– Track record in establishing product specs for new radio frequency and microwave ICs and hybrid RF / Microwave modules, and testing models to see if they meet specifications
– Experience using Agilent ADS software for integrated circuit simulations, and with ADS or Cadence to perform layouts
– Experience in design and test of hybrid modules, including thin and thick film substrates, network matching, circuitry control, etc., using MMIC integrated circuits and passives to create total module solutions
– PCB design and layout for testing and tuning of radio frequency integrated circuits
– Experience with design review documentation, supporting peer design reviews, and presenting simulations and results to peers and stakeholders
– Track record of scheduling and working with off shore teams to produce products
– Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
– Ability to work with teams and independently and to meet multiple challenging design and production deadlines on time
